Traffic figures for BAA airports was up 5% for January. Gatwick Airport's traffic for January grew by 2.9% to 1.8 million.
Monarch Airlines is to increase the number of flights from Gatwick to Spain by double from the 1st May 2004. Monarch believes offering a full in-flight service has proved very popular at Gatwick.
bmibaby will be using Gatwick Airport as it's new base in the South East. bmibaby will start new routes from 30th April. Routes to Prague and Cork went on sale on the 13th February. bmibaby has other bases at East Midlands, Heathrow, Cardiff and Teeside.

The Gatwick 200 coach service will be disrupted for the next couple of months due to roadworks on London Road.
